Faith in Leadership: Applicant Criteria
Successful candidates will be around 25 to 35 years of age.
A desire to take on a leadership role within a faith context, whether as a lay leader or member of the clergy or in some other capacity
A sustained commitment to your faith, including active involvement in a place of worship and/or interfaith work and/or social action in a faith context
Openness to the ideas and beliefs of others, and a willingness to learn from and work with those of other faiths and backgrounds
A sustained commitment to your faith, including active involvement in a place of worship and/or interfaith work and/or social action in a faith context
A commitment to the role of faith in building social cohesion
The ability to learn both as individuals and as part of a group
Good verbal and written communications skills
Excellent listening skills
A capacity to respect differences
A willingness to make mistakes and learn from them
The ability to see the connections between self-awareness, leadership development and community action
